Pediatric Jump Kit Bags For Wisconsin Ambulances
A pediatric Jump Kit Bag contains critical size-specific supplies and equipment for all children in one organized, easy to use kit. Dr. Tom Brazelton, MD, Pediatric ICU at children's Hospital in Madison, called the Ped Beg "a work of art" that saves lives. By March 2009 KJWC has raised money to fully fund eight of these life saving bags for the Boltonville, Campbellsport, Filmore, Kewaskum, and Kohlsville Fire Departments.
Helen Farnsworth Mears Memorial Art Contest and Exhibit
KJWC encourages and fosters support of the arts in Kewaskum and neighboring communities through hosting a local art contest and month long exhibit. All 7th and 8th grade students in local public, private, parochial, and home schools are invited to submit an entry in each of the following categories 2D(painting and drawing) and 3D(sculpture). Students must make a commitment regarding art submitted to the Helen Farnsworth Mears Art Contest; the submitted pieces should not be entered in another contest. Judging occurs at the local (Kewaskum), district and state levels and the winning art is then displayed at the Oshkosh Public Museum.
- Kiwanis Park - KJWC purchased and installed playground equipment for the Kiwanis Park and pool area.
- Kewaskum High School Theater - Monetary donation for theater chairs.
- Kewaskum Fitness Center - Monetary donation.
